The seafaring village of Agaete is located on the northwest of Gran Canaria, about
30 Km away from "Las Palmas".
Visit the beautiful old town with his traditional architecture of the XIX century,
the churches and
in Puerto de las Nieves you´ll find the famous
" El dedo de dios", translated "God´s finger".During
a storm in 2005, the thin top of the rocky monument was
broken off and fell into the sea, destroying its unique characteristic that had
the shape of a finger
Agaete is also known for his harbour. Ferries and boattrips depart daily to other
canary islands.
