The Canarian Ministry of Tourism won an award for the "best stand" at
the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid.
The stand of the Ministry of Tourism has won for its originality and functionality.
The Canary Islands had to compete with wholesalers, tour operators, travel agencies,
transport companies, hotels, recreation and culture, residential tourism, media,
Spanish and foreign government agencies, professional organizations, autonomous
regions and a large number of participating countries from five continents.
